Connecticut will no longer require people to wear masks when outdoors or purchase food to drink alcohol outdoors beginning May 1. It also will end the 8-person outdoor dining table limit, and move the business curfew to midnight. Bars, however, still will have to require indoor customers to purchase food with alcohol and to wear masks when not eating or drinking. On May 19, the state will end COVID-19 limits on how many people can attend outdoor venues and movie theaters. The mandate to wear masks indoors, however, will remain in place.
